설악산과

백두산에서 보던 장백제비꽃을 TMB 트레킹 6일차에 만났다

몽블랑의 멋진 조망이 나오는 트레킹 종착지 발므고개 몇km 전방에서 만났다

이 장백제비꽃은 서식지만 다를뿐 우리나라에서 보던 장백제비꽃과 똑같았다

우리나라 설악산 & 백두산~몽고~유럽 Alps 고산지역에 분포하는듯하다

Viloa biflora L : Twin-flowered Yellow Violet

Twin rich yellow flowers share a single stem, though solitary examples can also be found.

A typical violet shape, this flower has large paired upper lobes and a small lower lip with traces of dark brown markings

The large kidney-shaped leaves have a coating of fine hairs

It hugs the ground and forms large colorful clumps in shady woods and  damp places as high as 3000m altitude all across the Alps

The flowering period is April-August
